"Expanded Matrix " represents our latest release with Phos Duo.
It is a digital release on CD Baby & Loudr. The music is very stylistically varied, with influences ranging from Contemporary Classical to Blues to Latin to high-energy straight-ahead jazz, but none of the pieces are actually in those genres only influenced by them.

"mus-e-journal" was founded in January 2008 as a non-profit online

This is an article I wrote on practicing for jazz musicians. It
encompasses the teachings of four great jazz masters I had the chance to
study with: Joe Lovano, Dick Oats, Andy Fusco & Henry Butler.
Still after almost 30 years I still follow these teachings
and use them as a basis to teach good practicing habits to my students.

Markus Stockhausen along with Antonis Ladopoulos, Vasilis Rakopoulos, Sami Amiris & Periklis Trivolis present Aegean World Jazz.
This is a live recording of the 11/20/2010 concert at the Goethe Institute Auditorium in Athens.
The CD presents an improvisational approach on original compositions from the group and is released by the Goethe Institute.
